Founded in Chicago, Illinois with the launch of PSF I.

2008-2009

Launched PSF II. Capital raised to date exceeds $1B. Executed 20th fund commitment and 20th co-investment.

2013-2014

Reached $1B in capital deployed to North American buyout funds and direct equity co-investments. Realized 100th fund portfolio investment. Launched PSF III. Capital raised to date exceeds $1.5B.

2015-2016

Celebrated 10th anniversary. Began expanding investment team in anticipation of future expansion. Realized 20th co-investment.

2017-2018

Launched PSF IV. Realized 250th fund portfolio investment. Capital raised to date exceeds $2.25B.

2019

Reached $2B in capital deployed to North American buyout funds and direct equity co-investments. Launched Narrow Gate Series of Funds. Opened Winston-Salem, NC office. Launched joint venture with Astorius Capital.

2021

Team reached 17 people. Launched Titan series of funds. Capital raised to date exceeds $3.5B.

2023-2024

Reached $3.5B in capital deployed to North American buyout funds and direct equity co-investments. Team reached 21 people. Committed to 100th co-investment. Capital raised to date exceeds $4.0B.

2025-2026

Celebrated 20th anniversary. Capital raised to date exceeds $5.0B. Launched Amplify Series of funds to catalyze a dedicated focus on GP-led secondaries. Expanded Chicago office to accommodate a growing team of 23+.
